Situated at the limit of a wood, we have 127 small individual camping
areas completed with trees, for caravans, campers and tents where your
pets are also admitted! Inside the camping ground you will find
excellent bathroom, hot showers, laundry services, a small supermarket
with local products and an agreeable bar to spend cheerful nights in
with the sampling of our local brandy know as 'grappa'. The Calavise
Camping ground is situated 1 kilometer away from Imèr, 5 kilometers
from Fiera di Pimiero and 15 kilometers from San Martino di Castrozza.
At the foot of the Pale di San martino group, in the wide Primiero
Valley, you can visit six small, typical villages with their own
history and traditions and the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural
Park with its 190 square kilometers of woods. The Calavise Camping will
be your best starting point for the discovery of magnificent forest,
wild animals, small Alpine lakes, spring-water streams,
“malghe”(shepherds huts high in the Alps) where, during the summer, you
can taste well-known chesses or attend international meetings such as
Rampikissima or Rally of San martino di Castrozza. Every summer,
detailes brochure points out musical shows, dancing nights, village
festivals, historical commemorations and guided tours to museums and
exhibitions. Only 400 meters away from the camping, you can find a
tennis ground, basket-batt and football fields and volley-ball courts,
minigolf, bowling and a skating-rink; a confortable playground for
children and a gymnasium completely encicled by nature where you can do
your physical excercises in the open air. Just a few minutes away from
the camping site you can also find a swimming-pool, equipped
free-climber walls with experienced instructors, a riding-ground,
